"HE PUT HIS HAND ON MY SHOULDER AND TRIED TO GIVE ME A NECK MASSAGE"
Helena Bonham Carter made an unexpected confession about Harvey Weinstein
In the podcast Speaking on Louis Theroux's Grounded, Helena Bonham Carter told that once Harvey Weinstein attempted to touch her. In fact, this scandalous producer has been recently accused of harassment again.
"I didn't know that Harvey had been harassing women against their will, I didn't know about sexual assaults. He made a pass at me, but I told him no, and that was it. I saw how badly he behaved with some people, he didn’t have any compassion, that's what bothered me."
The actress said that Weinstein had tried to give her a neck massage.
"He put his hand on my shoulder and tried to massage my neck. I knew it wasn't good, so I said no and ran to the other side of the room," admitted Helena.
She didn't feel dependent on the influential producer.
Let us recall that last autumn, the New York Times published an investigation on how Weinstein had invited actresses to hotel rooms for more than 20 years under the pretext of discussing their participation in large-scale projects. He had forced them to have sex with him and threatened their careers if they refused.
The victims of the scandalous producer include such famous actresses as Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose Mcgaven, Salma Hayek, and many others. Overall, more than 80 women have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment.
